The Player Series are authentic 24" scale lengths and the fret spacing is just ever so slightly different. I do have to mention, the CV is a "conversion" neck, which means they basically deleted the first fret, so the second fret became the first - if you capo your first fret, you'll understand how a CV DS feels. The 24" scale length feels quite different towards the first few frets, your pinky can hit things without feeling like you're stretching, as such I feel "faster."
